Tooth Extraction
Overview
When a tooth is too broken down to restore, badly infected, crowding the bite or causing wisdom-tooth trouble, removing it is the kindest option. We always check the X-ray first, explain whether the tooth can be saved, and only extract when it is the right call.
Benefits
- Relief from pain and infection
- X-ray check before any extraction
- Local anaesthetic, no pain during treatment
- Gentle care for children's baby teeth
- Wisdom tooth removal planned from an X-ray
- Clear written aftercare
The Procedure
The area is numbed with local anaesthetic, so you feel pressure but no pain.
How it works
The tooth is gently loosened and removed; a simple extraction usually takes 15 to 30 minutes. Wisdom teeth can take longer, and we plan them from an X-ray. You leave with gauze, written aftercare and a number to call.
What it costs
From OMR30
Simple extraction OMR 50, a child’s baby tooth OMR 30, a wisdom tooth OMR 90. We check the X-ray first and confirm the price before we start.

For the first 24 hours avoid rinsing, spitting, smoking, shisha and hot drinks so the clot can settle. Eat soft, cool food and take the pain relief we recommend. Call us if bleeding, swelling or pain increases after the third day.
Expected Results
Most simple extraction sites feel comfortable within a few days and the gum heals over in about two weeks.
