01 — The visit, step by step

Five steps, each one documented.

  1. 01

    Arrival & parking

Free parking in the Qurum Garden Building. Take the lift to the first floor. Reception is on the right as you exit.

  2. 02

    Check-in

5-minute form: name, contact, medical history, current medications, and insurance details if you have cover. You can complete it on a tablet at reception or fill our online intake form beforehand to save time.

  3. 03

    Examination (15–20 min)

A specialist examines your teeth and gums, takes one or two diagnostic X-rays if needed, and listens to what brought you in. Questions are welcome — we plan for them.

  4. 04

    Treatment plan (10–15 min)

We walk you through the findings on screen — your X-rays and photos — and hand you a written plan with pricing and alternatives. You leave with a PDF copy, no pressure to book treatment.

  5. 05

    Next steps

If you decide to proceed, the front desk books your appointments, handles insurance pre-authorisation, and sets up a financing plan if helpful. If not, we save your plan on file for up to 6 months.

02 — What to bring

Five things that make your visit faster.

  • A valid ID or resident card

For clinic records — photographed, not retained.

  • Insurance card (if applicable)

We verify coverage while you’re in the chair.

  • Past X-rays or treatment records

Saves a new set of images and helps us spot changes.

  • Preferred payment method

Cash, card, or Qpay app for instalments.

  • A written list of concerns

Even three bullets. Most useful thing you can bring.

03 — Common questions

Before you book.

How long should I plan for the first visit?
+
Around 45 minutes in total: 10 for check-in, 15–20 for the exam, 10–15 for the treatment plan walk-through. Leave an hour to be safe — we don’t rush anyone out.
Do I need to stop eating or take anything before?
+
No. Brush and floss as usual. If you take blood thinners or anti-resorptives, tell reception at booking so we plan accordingly.
What if I’m very anxious about dentists?
+
Tell us when you book — we’ll schedule a double-length slot, start with a tour of the clinic and a sit-down chat, no treatment on the first visit if that’s what you need. Tell-show-do throughout.
Can I bring my child on the same visit?
+
Yes. We often pair back-to-back family appointments. Tell us the ages and we’ll allocate a kid-friendly operatory for the child.
Will I need X-rays at this visit?
+
Usually 1–3 small periapical X-rays for diagnosis, or a single panoramic if clinically indicated. Dose is very low (digital sensors). Children only get X-rays when essential.
Does the first visit include cleaning or treatment?
+
No — the first visit is diagnostic. Hygiene cleaning or any treatment is scheduled as a separate appointment so we have the right slot length and equipment ready.
